Think about this guys! Oda literally put Shank on Roger Ship! He was there when they are on the road to laugh tale, skypiea, wano, plneglyphs, the road poneglyphs, he was literally there when got all the road poneglyph! He was there when they trying to figure out on the map about where laugh tale is! He literaly was on the road on getting to laugh tale.. if there was one person who can easily get it after this 20 years its him! He dont need any poneglyphs, he dont need their history, their story, reyleigh already stated that all the roger pirates knew about the void century..

What if Shanks promised to Luffy wasnt as simple as we think!? All this time Shanks could easily gotten the Onepiece but he waited for luffy before he makes a move!?

No, like i said he literally just have to figure out where laugh tale is located. What if their promise is as deep as the sea? Shanks promise to Luffy that they would surpass his crew and get the onepoece, Shanks literally wait for luffy to become as strong as much as ever to literally defeat him and then get the onepiece. He waited that long just for luffy both all this time was trying to keep their promise! And also thats the meaning why shanks made a bet a to the new era. Like i said he dont need robin or anybody he is the most closest to onepiece than whitebeard

I dont think shanks would do that i still think his a good guy. For now i think! He just want to keep his promise to luffy. Since luffy stated that he would gather a crew that would surpass shanks crew and get the onepiece shanks took this as part of their promise together..

Shanks will wait for getting the onepiece in exchange luffy will get stronger became a great pirate and all both of them keep their promise.

Well, Shanks stoled the gomu gomu, so maybe he knew that the DF was a key or needed to accomplish a profecy or something. So when Luffy ate it, he knew that it was him the chosen one or something like that. He knew that it was gonna be Luffy so just waited for Luffy to get strong enough so both could go.

And Shanks waited since he really wanted to go, but he always had to wait.

He will support Luffy being PK while he accompany / go to Raftel too.
