Future Events Shanks will show up in Chapter 1004 and Act 3 will end in 1003

I personally believe Act 3 of Wano will end on a tragedy in a shocking fashion in the next few chapters ... right now Kaido looks too confident to be defeated and the Supernova will take a crushing defeat which will end the Act 3 at chapter 1003

It follows the pattern :

- 909-924 (Act 1 = 15 Chapters)
- 925-955 (Act 2 = 30 Chapters)
- 958-1003 (Act 3 = 45 Chapters)


Volume 100 which has been hyped by Oda in the jump festa message as well which starts at 1004 and it will be the first Interlude chapter and imo with the way Oda has set it up I think we're gonna get full 10 chapters of Interlude focusing on Shanks and his move starting from 1004 to 1015


Especially with the recent chapter in 1001 where Oda hyped up Shanks again and put him among the legends , this is the time to pan to him and focus the story on him (and setup his death imo)

Doubt that Oda would give 10 chapters to Shanks now
He could do that once Wano is ended, for now I think he'll appear in the 1-2-3 chapters interlude between 3rd and 4th act

He could do that once Wano is ended, for now I think he'll appear in the 1-2-3 chapters interlude between 3rd and 4th act

I dont think we can predict how long the interlude could be , like first one was half chapter the second was 3 chapters ... For now Especially because this is one out of 2 occasions we gonna see Shanks I feel like Oda will give him more panel time then anytime in the series

Shanks's role left in the series is to do whatever he plans to do with WG/BB which comes in the next interlude then he has to meet Luffy and take back the hat ... and then he dies after that

And 2 chapters seems a liitle fast for the end of act 3
We might get another 4 or 5 chapters
Then a few chapters showing Shanks and the warlords, setup for the navy coming to wano and then we get back to wano and start act 4 on the last chapter of volume 100

One Piece battles span over several chapters. Kaido can’t even lose in the next ten, given this is a war.

I wouldn't be surprised if we get 4 chapters in a row fully focused on the fight on the rooftop with 1004 ending with a cliffhanger i.e 5 SNs appearing defeated (which ends the volume) and then the following chapters, Oda rewinds the time and shows us what was happening all this time within the dome. As this involves several fights this could take up a whole volume's worth. i.e 10 chapters. Then the next volume after that we go back to the present time at the rooftop, here there might be some twist or someone arrives to turn the tables again in favour of Luffy and co. such as Marco or Shanks etc.

Once Kaido is defeated, we get the usual celebration and recovery stuff for all the SHs. Zoro visiting Ryuuma's grave, Hiyori and Momo reunion all happens at the end of Act 3 is my prediction.
