Questions & Mysteries Shin's death/fall, by who? (Historical spoilers involved)

We know Mouten and Ouhon don't have happy endings, but Shin totally does. He got lands, got to retire peacefully, and at least one of his children went to become a high ranking officer under Han. Doesn't get much better than that.

We know the real Li Xin did well for himself historically.

I can't see this Shin being happy losing so many friends and probably Kyou Kai at the end. I see him having fleeting moments of happinss with his kids and grandkids, but for it to otherwise be a bittersweet ending. I imagine Shin will never step foot on the battlefield again after Sei dies.

He might briefly but only to protect his people without a battle being shown in detail.
