Ever since shiryu was revealed to have the invisibility fruit, many fans claimed that he had the most useless DF, despite shiryu himself stating it was powerful.
Why does Shiryu believe invisibility is so powerful if it can destroy easily be defeated by observation haki? The obvious answer is that shiryu has the ability to negate observation haki. With Shanks now being revealed to have such a power, I think it’s very likely we will see it again with shiryu.
Now this isn’t to say that I think Shiryu has CoC on Shanks’s level. But I do believe he could have CoC and use CoC in the same way as Shanks. Releasing bursts of CoC infused with deadly killing intent to momentarily disturb his opponent’s CoO, allowing him to land critical hits using invisibility.
