Out of all Blackbeard pirates, Shiryu has to be one of the best haki users, if not the outright best.
The reason for this is that he had the best portrayal out of all of them pre-DF. Shiryu was said to be equal to Magellan before he gained his invisibility powers. However Shiryu had no DF at the time.
This necessitates that he have advanced haki. Not only should Shiryu have one form of advanced haki, he must have at least two. This is because we have seen that having one form of advanced haki in of itself isn't that big of a deal.
The scabbards all had just one form of advanced haki. While King had ryuo and Kata has FS, they both had other abilities to back up their haki. Shiryu doesn't. He just has his haki and his sword. Therefore he must have two.
While ACoA and ACoC would be a very clear option for obvious reasons, this is the skillset Zoro has. I think it might be more likely that Shiryu's advanced haki is ACoA and ACoO instead.
This ties into his DF abilities. Shiryu knowingly took the Suke Suke no mi. A lot of people say that this power is weak because it can easily be countered by haki. But this completely discounts the possibilities of Shiryu's haki. What if Shiryu is an observation master, boasting stronger FS abilities than Katakuri. If this is the case, then unless you have greater CoO than shiryu, it would be almost impossible to tag him.
Combine this with possible internal destruction CoA, and Shiryu would easily be the strongest right hand man.
