General & Others Should Hawkins been a Warlord instead of Law?

#1
We know that Oda originally intended for Hawkins to be a Warlord and then changed his mind and made Law one instead

Given how Law didn't really need to be a warlord for Punk Hazard and Dressrossa to happen, I don't see why Hawkins wasn't made a Warlord instead

Especially when atm Hawkins is the Supernova with least amount of Characterization, him being a warlord would have made him more unique.

I think it would've worked. Allying with the Marines would be in line with his approach of looking at chance and the most convenient route. Instead we had him ally with Kid and Apoo and that took him to Wano and we have yet to see all that much from him. Hopefully he gets focus soon but I could definitely have seen him being a Shinchibukai.

There wouldn't have existed PH and DR without Law being Shichibukai.

Yes, Hawkins being a Shichibukai makes sense.

Law needed to be a Shichibukai, otherwise we would not have had PH or DR.

The SN that could have been a good Shichibukai is Bege, in my opinion.

Well there are a few people on mid tier who entered the status so it is materially possible, it depends on circumstances however...
Well, except Buggy, I wouldn't consider any Shichibukai weak, maybe Moria, but we know that Prime Moria was much stronger than the lazy pirate we saw in TB.

Yes that demonstrated that people who aren't even veteran level can potentially enter but it's a sporadic event overall.

It wouldn't hurt his character but I don't think Hawkins is a good fit for the Shichibukai as he is now. He's too passive and weak, throughout Wano he's not shown anything too impressive and seemingly has no ulterior motive. Most of the Shichibukai besides Mihawk have a reason for why they became one, IDK why Hawkins would bother.

He's too bland for the role.
I'll agree with this. With a max. amount of 10 lives and having lost 3 in a single clash with Zoro, he'd amount to another Moriah. Whatever good cards he's hiding better be absolutely insane.

He'd need some pass like Law.

But since law abused the hearts of pirates already I can't imagine what Hawkins would need.

He would probably need to have blueprints of fucking Ancient weapons.

Nah he had his role as being in a alliance that was his defining reintroduction.

The best SN would be a person who's not muddled in the Yonko Saga. So either Urouge or Bonney. But they're the most irrelevant so.

It would've been best for someone who wasnt in the SN to be a Shichibukai.

Akainu would have killed him off long ago if he was a warlord like this marine, as he would just hide as soon as things got little dangerous:suresure:. Law is more suited for sure
