Future Events Should Luffy solo Kaido?

Why do you keep using this as an argument? And disregarding the whole context?

1º Kaido reached a state of alcoholism so great that he was hitting and destroying houses. (Just because Luffy managed to knock him out of the sky in his dragon form, which was not enough) That way luffy managed to knock him down and push him.

2nd It became even clearer in the anime that Kaido couldn't even stand up as drunk as he was, he was dizzy when he returned to his HUMAN form.

3rd He received all the blows with open chests, blows that cannot be ignored by other people (such as the mihawk, akainu, and others.), His blows were unable to even remove the severe smile from Kaido's face.

4th Laughed at luffy, "pft".

5th Kaido lets Luffy attack him, he doesn't make defensive moves or anything, he just lets Luffy unload everything he has.

stop using that shit like it's good for Luffy.
If Kaido had been sober from the start, Luffy wouldn't have been able to move him.
Luffy with his g4 blows (before Ryo), forces 99% of the characters in a play to defend themselves or use defensive haki, it is something that outside of Kaido and the big mom, the others cannot ignore.
For example, that rain of blows that the kaido was tanking with a smile on his face can FUCK the mihawk.

It will not be a total solo (like it is rarely the case anyway considering most fights before) because the scabbards will attack him now.

First two were still not really solo, third one it can be argued for since Katakuri had no disadvantage in regards to his abilities with the whole Brulee thing, and the self harm he took was the same Luffy "unfairly" got due to interference.

I’d be fine if Luffy outperforms Kaido before he uses hybrid/Awakening. We know from Cp—9 that hybrid gives you a massive boost compared to your normal state

Thinking about it hes how i imagine luffy compared to kaido

Hybrid kaido > g4 all out luffy > base kaido > base luffy > dragon kaido (mainly because it seems impractical in actual fights)

Awakened kaido could be a whole new form/power over his hybrid but we don't know how real zoan awakenings work. So for now idk

So luffy is likely one good power up from reaching/surpassing kaido. Whether its his own awakening, advanced coc, or g5
Tho for now hell make up for that lack of power with outside help

It will cause power inflation for sure
Kaido is someone that by hype and portrayal should stand at the top of the world top 3 at worst ( behind the god of war Kinemon and the deadly beauty O-Kiku )
Also If Luffy goes from getting one shoted by base Kaido to being stronger in 2 weeks it makes us feel a lot less threat from Luffy's future opponents being it Imu or BB despite of their powerlevel

i think one piece is going to end soon after this arc, so i think luffy should be able to solo a yonkou
but from what we see on luffy so far, oda would need to have asspull to make luffy 1v1 a yonkou, since luffy never takes care of his G4 weakness (he always needs help to run away when he ran out of haki). Due to that i think luffy will tag team with zoro against kaido

We got it that One Piece is a big universe with a lot of different and interesting characters and an intertwined story. But at some point we still need fights.

And why would I care about asspulls?Everybody does it and it's been there in the manga since the beginning.
