Pre-ts was okay. He can't redeem the last 10 years with just one arc. If he didn't do it during Wano he won't do it in the Final arc/saga.

Redeeming/repairing mistakes takes years and tons of chapters. We are knocking at the final arc doorstep.

He can write a good ending for a sendoff but this won't erase his mistakes.

If he can pull off a good ending do you think the mistakes will be less noticed and brought up on a reread of the entire finished, with people not reading the series one chapter a week?

Now, here's some things that I didn't like about the Wano arc:

1. The Numbers were totally pointless. None of them came off as a threat and literally were just mindless brutes. There instead should have been only one giant who actually was dangerous.

2. Big Mom fighting Ulta and Page-One took away from Nami and Usopp. Very poor idea. They should have beat them fair and square.

3. Yamato should have been foreshadowed, like an offhand comment about a "monster" at Onigashima.

4. The Yakuza characters should have just been direct retainers of the former Daimyo.

5. Denjiro should have taught Hiyori swordsmanship so she could have been a hope for the people of Wano instead of a courtesan.

6. Brook and Chopper should have gotten victories, too.

7. Aramaki should have been chased off by Luffy instead.

8. Orochi should have only died twice instead of thrice. And Hiyori should have been the one who killed him.

9. The SMILE fruits should have been like Sheepshead to come off more dangerous.

Off screen training is fine if it makes sense for the characters to be doing it. Preparing to confront Kaido is a good reason, and after seeing what an emperor can do first hand during WCI is another good reason.

I agree with you. I would have wished the alliance waited like a week or so after they overthrew the Prisoner Mine to get everything as ready as they could, training included.

Completely agree, if the Raid was going to be a set date like the festival, then it could be even two to three weeks or a bit longer to get prepared.

No hiatus or break will help if Oda's team remains the same. He doesn't have people around him who would want to help him improve or achieve better status, he is surrounded by ego massaging people and it can be proven easily, especially by his comment that he would appreciate some critical approach from time to time ( referring to his inner circle ) but as I mentioned above prior to that Oda Angel interrupting me. His Editors/his team are not good people.

Oda himself is not the youngest and he just probably wants to finish it no matter the circumstances or drop in the quality.
