The only thing worse to tank than Magellan's poison is a magma fist, it is definitely dangerous in that regard
But an on guard top tier? Hard to imagine

Also Magellan's Kinjite form is basically acid poison that melts even the rock and iron, superior version of magma in terms of destruction.

1. Magma fist
2. Ice Time -when Kuzan freezes on contact-
3. Magellan's poison
4. Fullpower Gura
5. High end sword attacks

Obviously not Admiral level but I can potentially see him being in that realm above YC1 but below top tiers, the gap is massive and he can possibly fit in there. He made a bunch of Warlords and a top rev commander wanting nothing to do with him combined.

This might make it seem like he was Admiral level but we know current Shiryu is likely stronger and he didn't have that motion when Kuzan and Garp were fighting, infact it reiterated how Shiryu was special among the rest of the commanders but Kuzan and Garp were head and shoulders above everyone on that island.

The gap between Admirals and the big 3 commanders (Kat,King,Marco) is so big we will continue to see more characters fall in that bracket.

Touching Haki doesn't protect from poison, no touch Haki is needed.

Imagine if Blackbeard (as an easy example since it happens to him so often) could straight up endure damage without flinching instead of rolling on the floor in pain after receiving a damaging attack. That's one isolated advantage Pacifistas have over even characters as powerful as Teach.
