•In terms of Status Momonga is above Smoker and any current Vice Admiral (except Garp and Tsuru).

•Momonga worked his way up to the Rank of beeing the "Boss" of the Marine Base G1 which is the MAIN Marine Base after Akainus Marine HQ... officially it means hes above even the likes of Momosaugi and Chaton who both were one of the Candidats for the Admiral Rank.

•In addiotion to that his Strength in combination with his Rokushiki skills got hyped by Oda in the Databook.


•As for Smoker every Time he appears in a new Arc hes way stronger and Oda shows him much love... we are about to see Awakened Devilfruit of Smoker with high lvl of Haki...

I don't want Smoker to become an admiral. This is not his way. It won't bring him happiness. +It seems to me that if he becomes an admiral, Coby will replace him in two peace or after timeskip.

Smoker hasn't even shown up yet, calm down. Coby is the best. Oda only started this manga for Coby. No one has the right to wait for Smoker and believe in him. Coby is also the best written character in One Piece. Smoker is a loser, he's 36, how dare he get stronger? At this age, it's time to be a great-grandfather.

Relevant enough for Oda to put him above any Vice Admiral... hes even higher statuswise than 2 Admiral Candidats and we know from a Sbs that they werent the only Candidats going based on that Momonga was a Admiral Candidat logically beeing above Chaton and Momosaugi let alone Smoker...
