What kaido did to kidd and luffy was small...they just got beaten.
They should really feel that there's no hope right now.

No training
Luffy has history of beating main arc villains in round 3 w/o any training, after he learn their weakness in round 1 (or between round 1 and 2)
Exemples:
Sir Crocodile, Lord Katakuri, Gecko Moria etc

He doesn't need training G4 is proven to be more than enough, he only need to solve the time-limit issue.

Supernova ain't the type to give-up, hell Killer comment after Red Roc implied that both Kidd & him believed they will die againat Crydo - yet they challenge him. Law and Zoro also has their moments of not giving-up in hopeless situations (Law - Vergo/Doflamingo; Zoro - Mihawk/Arlong/Mr. 1/Enel/Kuma)

I doubt the Supernova would run away. Would be out of character for all of them, especially now. Luffy had Kaido dodging from g2 attack and they got rid of one of the Yonko. Even if the Supernova get pressured since one of them is a bit injured and Luffy took quite the hit, help arriving through that last door is more likely than the Supernova fleeing. Even if support doesn't arrive, the Supernova will just be on the ropes at the worst.
