Powers & Abilities So did Gaban tell Luffy how to damage an immortal offscreen?

I mean Chopper explicitly says he wants to know this and chopper is with Gaban when Gaban tells them what happened… So a good writer would have Luffy and Crew already have the knowledge to damage the immortals when they go up to Imu to fight him… yes, this is what a good writer would do… Is it what Oda will do?

I mean would that be good writing lol

I think this is a textbook example of “you can’t satisfy everyone”

Because other people would argue that it doesn’t make sense for Luffy and the others to know how to damage immortals without time (which they don’t have) or training

And if there is a specific method that can be easily explained in a simple conversation then they would prefer if it took place onscreen rather than offscreen

So then when Gaban was explaining what was happening, he forgot to mention that thhe people he was fighting were immortals?

or he did mention they were immortals but forgot to tell Luffy how to damage them?

or he told Luffy how to damage them but we are going to get this after like three chapters of Luffy punching these guys and not doing damage and trying to do what Gaban said, so it’s like a training arc mid fight… This is option 2 in the poll
