Ryokugyu's life/nutrient drain seems to be more suited for dealing with gimmicks that a lot of high tiers have like King or Marco.

Like Law and Doffy could defend themselves from Fuji's meteor, but had Ryokugyu been there and used an AOE with life sap they would go down almost instantly.

There’s no good story reason for an admiral to show up and get folded in two chapters. It accomplishes literally nothing narratively since we just saw our MCs take down two Yonko and scare the piss out of the Gorosei. Luffy’s an EMPEROR for fuck’s sake.

Ryokugyu taking them out on the other hand and/or making some deal would literally be the perfect set up for the final saga.

He was WSC, went through a gauntlet and awakened Luffy and lost. Nobody fights for days on panel, we've never seen it before and we will never see it. It's just Oda's way to make up for the off paneling. What Zoan regen abilities?
Maybe he used his awakening and that's how he was able to brush off all the damage he took up until one point.
Anyway he's gone now, that has been made clear.
I didn't like the final part of the fight but I can't deal with it and I don't understand why people can't accept the outcome, Luffy defeated Kaido, his main opponent like he has in this type of arc everytime he had to do it.

Ryokugyu literally has the ultimate hax/AOE combo for dealing with a large amount of high or mid tier opponents at once.

I seriously don't get why barely anyone is considering this a real possibility. Hax based AoE, that does not kill... Name me a better plot device than him in such a situation. Sneaky and effective as fuck, while nearly everyone is drunk, celebrating with no care at all.

As if the Yeti cool brothers, Caesar, Apo and Sugar weren't a thing already. I'm not saying it's definitely going to happen, but it's definitely a possibility. Everyone obviously knows that he gets the piss beaten out of him if he confronts them directly, but that's not the point lol
