Idk, I think you're believing CoC coating applies every principle of CoA/Inter-destruction and mimics it. That's not how it works- we barely know how CoC coating works. There's a lot of assumptions in your perspective lol.
All we know for sure is that CoC coating is coating your body/weapon in that haki, which forms black sparks. Which is similar to the concept of ACoA- the basic level below Internal Destruction, which is emitting CoA from your body and coating it on yourself or your weapon.
Also, yeah, white sparks are used to signify point or line of impact, as evident in your SS.
From what we know for a fact what kaido was using adv coc in chapter 1009 i.e. ragnorok attack he didn't use any barrier but mentioned that it was adv coc........
After that luffy reminisce about the flow of coa in FB and used the barrier thing + trail of haki which was similar to what kaido used during ragnarok attack which tells us luffy used both adv coa internal + adv coc...........
Yes barrier can simply be higher stage of coc...........just like there is coa coating and barrier coa(which again has plain barrier and internal dest.)..........coc also can have two levels coc coating which kaido initially used and then barrier coc.............
Irrespective of these things my point remains kaido didn't connect his club to law/zoro the way he did against luffy in chapter 923
