I still think it's in play. We see Ryuma open his left eye and it's red.... Zoro uses CoC in the anime and it's Red... coincidence, I think not! Just not sure when he will open it

Do you still think Zoro will magically open his left eye for some power up as a lot of people thought or not?

Hopefully there is some actual significance at this point, even if its not a powerup. If not, then I am not sure why oda has to hide talking about it in and outside manga for such a lame reason.

If his Eye was gone for good, Oda would have made a Scene where SHs ask about it & Zoro explain how he lost it & then let us theorize about the meaning behind it

But since Oda is completely avoiding even mentioning it, then it's expected he will open it soon & SHs will be like:
"You actually never said you completely lost it, now that we think about it"
