General & Others So since Whitebeard was the worlds strongest MAN, weren't Big Mom and Kaido not considered?

IDK. Whitebeard has been referred to both as the "World's Strongest Man" and also as the "World's Strongest Pirate"

Killer also referred to Kaido as the "World's Strongest Pirate" but we generally hear that Kaido is the "World's Strongest Creature"

I think Oda likes to be purposely ambiguous with these titles because he doesn't like power-scaling. And to be honest it makes sense considering in real life it is often difficult to measure how "good" people are at certain things, even in sports we have stats for players and there are still endless debates about who is better/the best.

There is barely any tangible way to determine how "strong" someone is in One Piece. Even the word "strong" is ambiguous.

But yes I would consider BM and Kaido part of the WSM grouping because WB has also been called the WSP. So while he was healthy and alive Whitebeard was #1 in the verse along with Roger.
Imo he just wanna please every fandom so that no faction get disappointed with their faves lol

I wonder if Killer would have still considered Kaido the strongest Pirate alive had WB still stood alive. 🤔

Are you dumb or trolling?what youre saying is that wb wasnt a living creature. Check your english pls
They specifically said creature. Do we ever knew about a creature being stronger than human? Humans rules this worlds. Or human like races like Fishmen.

Otherwise you want to say that there is a Fishman stronger than WB? Or a non Pirate stronger than him? Or a woman? Because he was called strongest man, not human or homo-sapiens. Strongest Pirate.

But check the Vivre Card, it says World Strongest. Not man, human, pirate. Just Strongest.

Wtf are you even saying. Whitebeard,as all humans, was a living creature. Kaido was and is the strongest living creature. Kaido>WB. Not debatable

The French translation of the novel Ace:
"Whitebeard? That man is a legend, he was the only one who could match Roger!
"No one tops him now. He is clearly the strongest man in the world.
"If anyone has to found One Piece, it will be him.
"Fuck anyone if you want but not a white beard!
Decidedly, the information Skull had collected on Whitebeard agreed with each other
"The strongest man in the world, huh?" Ace sighed
But what was the basis of such a reputation
After all, it wasn't something we could decide in a race or in an arm wrestling match
. According to the multiple sources Skull had gathered about pirates, Kaido was probably superior in terms of brute force
If we were to single out one strong point for all of them, we can say that Kaido's apparent immortality made him the "world's strongest creature", while Bigmom's family made her the "world's most formidable captain" and the Whitebeard's life achievements shot him into the "World's Strongest Pirate"
...?..""""t Pirate".

In Shirohige's vivre card, it is confirmed that he got the title of the strongest man (in Roger's era) for having immense strength and an ability that allowed him to destroy the world.
He also got the title of the most powerful pirate when Oden joined his crew.
