He is content with the fact that he is going to die soon by the hands of the Government… I find it stupid how he anticipates and somehow can do nothing.

Since he is connected with the Revs why not ask them for help? Why doesn’t he just create a Seraphim or few to personally protect him?

Ngl I was also surprised about this. But I don't think there is anything stupid about it.
Maybe we shall think it is about a possible assassination we speculate here, but what if there are other reasons he anticipates his death? Maybe an error when he splitt his consciousness, or something about the condition of his original body. Or maybe he will upload Kuma into his body and their consciousnesses are in tandem, because I am firm believer of Kuma's consciousness being saved somewhere, waiting to be downloaded.

I think this is all in all a very interesting topic, and Oda could splice it with red-herrings and stuff which makes it pretty hype.
I know I am tinfoiling, but it is my way to cope.

Well maybe he already knows that not only the Government wants his death,but Bonney too,so he thinks that there is a high probabilty for his death because two entities (the WG and a Supernovas alliance,maybe he considers the option that Luffy allies with Bonney) wants to kill them. Or he may be sick. I already imagine the classic Oda tearjerker scene where Vegapunk dies and all his clones are around him crying for him,and swear to continue his work for him.
