looks like the arc is about to end.

we will get fights of straw hats (off screened mostly)
Sanji vs 3 strongest
Zoro vs second strongest (soon)

Rest of characters like big mom and her crew, supernova etc off paneled and left behind

the princess set up is ready for Luffy who is in his way to kaido to enter and save her (Yamato)

birdcage (onigashima) almost arrived... count down soon ?

the ending of the shit show.
The sheer amount of potential this arc had is crazy when you look at what it have actually become...wow

It depends. If there are just 3 acts,i see all the fights except Luffy/Kaido ending this year,and Luffy-Kaido ending around Spring 2022. So the arc could end during Summer 2022. If there is 4 acts,i think it could begin soon,during summer 21,but then the act will last at least until Summer 2022. And Act 5 could be during Fall 2022,with the next arc starting in Early 2023.

There's no way it can end this year, especially with all the breaks. This act will probably end sometime this summer but Luffy is not beating Kaido right now. I don't think Wano will end until almost the end of next year. Luffy just got a powerup and got beat with ease again. To get another powerup NOW in Onigashima and beat Kaido would be worst of all time tier writing. There needs to be a buffer of time there between now and the final battle.

We still have a lot to cover:

-Kaido vs Yamato and Kaido's back story
-Big Mom going down and her fight with Kidd and Law (they won't win here)
-CP0 involvement
-Robin vs Black Maria (Oda is an asshole if he off panels this)
-Sanji vs Queen
-King going down
-Opening Up the Borders of Wano
-Poneglyphs in Wano
-Momonosuke being crowned as Shogun
-Funeral for Kinemon, Ashura and Kiku
-The Flying Six going down
-Onigashima being relocated to the capital
-Hawkins vs Killer
-Zoro recovery and possible fight with King
-Luffy recovery and powerup
-Final battle and Kaido's death
-Aftermath of Wano and world implications

We need between 20 and 30 chapters if Oda wants to end Wano ASAP, so roughly three volumes. Just going off the fights and not any major revelations, Sasaki v. Franky, Who's Who v. Jinbe, Black Maria v. Robin and Brook & Hawkins v. Killer should take up a volume of space itself.

Jack, Queen and King's final fights all together should be another volume—about 3 chapters per fight with maybe King or Queen getting an added chapter or two.

Then dealing with Kaido and Big Mom? If you wanna be speedy, 5 chapters for each to be KO'd. And this is just a breakneck pace that ignores anymore set up, plot reveals (Momo will be doing this soon), pay offs (Momo's DF), Cipher Pol's instigations and Oda's classic "zero plot progression" chapters. God forbid Page1 and Ulti get back up, otherwise it's gonna be another 4 chapters for the duo minimum.

I'm guessing Winter of 2022 is when we'll be done with Wano.
