My guess is that he´s gonna be very important narratively and will also serve as a way to tie the knot on a few plot points that haven´t been adressed in a while or at all? despite the fact that he is a skypean aswell and we are definitely not done hearing about them.

As for his importance in battles? i don´t expect much, especially when it comes to facing EOS top dogs, if oda really drops the ball on power creeping and ends up giving urouge a mythical zoan with some type of ''karma'' ability it´s gonna be the official proof that oda wants to end everything without giving much details.

Genuinely forgot about this birkan stuff lol, wasn´t there a birkan guy mentioned in the beginning of skypeia´s arc that was supposed to be a great deal in the end of the series? he was briefly mentioned in a conversation regarded either about a book or a ship? it was an engineer if i´m not mistaken.

I have no idea tbh. I thought he may take part in the wano arc since he was on the sky island where Kaido was when introduced, but never came. And honestly Urouge doesn’t seems like a character with mysteries to save for last among the worst gen members unless Oda wants to add him as just fighter in a pirate crew against SHs like BBPs! Otherwise he doesn’t add anything to the story.

Bonney is eyecandy with broken Akuma no mi and pretty face, she fills her role well.

The trend is that one or more supernovas are important, more or less, guests of each arc, and if it is Law it can even be a ton of arcs. We had Law in Punk hazard, Dressrosa, then Zou and WCI had Capone, Wano had Kidd, Law, Killer, Apoo, Drake, Hawkins. Luffy and Zoro are there by default. BB will get his arc as final villain and what we lack now is only Urouge. He will probably be a guest in the next arc or in another before the end, with the giants in Elbaf maybe?
