I remember when I asked why is Big Mom in Wano for, yall told me so that she can get defeated by the new generation Kid/Law and it will lead to somewhere. So now she is defeated, then Oda's next incoherent idea is to have Kidd get one shotted by Shanks. So this is the plan yall told me will lead to somewhere?

I think narratively Big Mom was there to fight Kidd and Law so they got stronger and could then be used as hype tools for Teach and Shanks. But Big Mom alone could serve as that hype tool as Big Mom wouldn’t get one shot or easily beaten by ether of them as Big Mom is much stronger than Kidd/Law individually.

Looking at the story, I don’t agree:

- Oda felt the need to have both of them awaken to beat.

- Oda felt like he had to have her further damaged from other sources, Bombs and Lava, to beat her

While also taking away her access to her full soul power as Nami stole some with Zeus and she didn’t have her incarnations with her.

• NewGen statements? Who cares...OldGen Shanks wins overcomes that easily
• Kid's progress? Doesn't matter
• Real 1v1 where Kid and Shanks fight? Nope , can't have Shanks slack
• Kid is very tanky? Nah not against Shanks
