Oda is actually trying to bait us, Sanji should've have used the suit more times in order to fully awaken his powers, but he destroyed it


Remember when Franky and Usopp say that they cannot see Sanji hitting Page One and think that was speed? Law said "It's not it, he is tough to fight because he can vanish!"

Oda made us stick with that, but his goal was to make Sanji basically replicate invisibility by his own speed, and we know that pre-awakening Sanji was pretty fast, and he got even more now.

Sanji supposedly turning invisible before hitting Queen with "Hell Memories" was just a bait, and chapter 1034 confirms it, he mentioned his base speed increase + Ifrit Jambe speed increase more than once in this chapter.
