the story itself is alright, but the execution as anime is really amazing, it for sure feels good

the statue is like the Thriller Bark monster shadows, just imagine it comming close to punish and curse you

The anime is great. The fighting animation is insane. There are some cut contents here and there but it's not too major that it affects the story as a whole.

Also, that statue is like if Imu actually has good design for the final villain. But Oda obviously can't allow that.

How does this compare to tower of God?

Solo Leveling is a good series but it is no where near the level of ToG imo. I'm speaking story wise not what the animation studios are doing with these properties

Season 1 of ToG is goated. Season 2 should have had better production. The pacing was bad and the fights didn't receive the care they deserve.

I have no complaints about the Solo Leveling animation quality. Story wise they've made some changed in Jin Woo's personality and the pacing is a bit fast but overall they're doing a much better job than the new studio doing ToG.

Tower of God should have been adapted by A-1 or White Fox.

ToG anime got butchered by horrendous pacing and cut contents. Season 1 got good animation but season 2 art style went downhill but the pacing is a bit better. Not that it meant anything.

It's unfortunate really. Cuz Tower of God could have been great, if not the best Manwha anime if adapted properly.

But it seems like Solo Leveling is the best adapted Manwha for now.

Unless Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint gets the same love as SL gets. Then again, I don't have much expectations for it considering "The Beginning After The End" got absolutely butchered Lmao.

For real? Is it actually confirmed?

Hopefully A-1 will be the one that takes ORV. CloverWorks is cool but they're only good with romcom anime. Shounen/Action/LN/Manwha is not their forte unfortunately.

CloverWorks might massacre ORV like how they did with The Promised Neverland if they EVER take on ORV.
