Yeah exactly. There's absolutely no reason why Momonosuke didn't claim Luffy's voice disappeared when he got knocked out in chapter 1009 and in chapter 1013. He only did it this time, it does mean something more than simply being knocked out like the previous two cases
Lack of evidence isn't an evidence.
You are saying as Momo didn't said it before it means now Luffy is dead
Whereas we know being KO is enough to make your voice disappear
So the question is : How Momo can differentiate Death and KO If in both case it's just the voice which disappear ?
Regardless of the "voice" argument, Kaidou's words are also further proof. He planned on crushing Luffy's head in ch. 1008 and threw Luffy into the ocean to die in ch. 1013. If he didn't do something like that this time, it means that he was sure of Luffy's death when he proclaimed it in the chapter.
How many villains tried to Kill Luffy ?
How many succeed after thinking he did it ?
Did Crocodile Killed Luffy in their second fight ?

The silence SFX : He was used back in Impel Down when Luffy was poisoned by Magellan and tried to recover
Luffy was shouting, he stopped.
Ivankov thought Luffy died and just after he was back
