IMO: I believe yes, Akainu in the Pre-TS was just end tier Admiral or Low tier Yonko, the legends who past their primes like WB, Sengoku, Garp or Kong (whom is Non-action like Dragon) are Yonko level (in their primes, they are all PK level characters), Shanks & Mihawk are Yonko level back then, Kuzan & Kizaru are Admiral level, While Kaido is still PK level just like how we've seen him in Wano cause Shanks wouldn't also be able to stop him (or Shanks just ignored him and stayed home like Dragon's army), but only Dragon had he arrived in MF, he'd rival Kaido in terms of powers, Shiki or BB with 2 DF's would come close but not stronger than both Kaido & Dragon, but if Imu decided to come out him and his Gorosei together and Garling, these would be the ones to surpass him, or Uta if she appeared out of nowhere to save her father Shanks from Kaido and be the one to stop him
2-If he were the final villain of the Series, how strong he'd be and what would be the reasons for his rivalry with Luffy? and what other DF he'd have? him and his ally Big Mom?
IMO: He'd be beyond PK level ofc, his DF would be the Mythical Zoan DF "Typhon-Typhon No Mi" his rivalry with Luffy would be on who will be PK and who will find the One Piece, and Big Mom whom would ally with Kaido, her DF would be the Mythical Zoan DF "Witch-Witch No Mi"
3-How strong was he really?
IMO: He is PK level, 1 spot ahead of the likes of a prime Shiki (such as EOS Buggy & Sanji) 2 spots ahead of the likes of a prime Sengoku (like Primes Kong or BM & EOS Aokiji), but the likes of a prime Garp (like Future Koby or EOS Akainu) are ahead of him, a future Momonosuke will be same level but not quite like Kaido, and the likes of Roger (like EOS Mihawk & Shanks) are 2 spots ahead of him, a Primebeard 3 spots ahead of him
4-Is Kaido a credible source?
IMO: Yes, he is, fans should understand things like these: when he said "Only Joyboy is the one that will stop me" what he meant by that in the time he had his conversation with right-hand man King, is that since Prime Garp, Roger, Primebeard or Rocks weren't in this world, Kaido is WSC (Imu is the secret ruler of the world so he's an unknown enigma) and that whenever Joyboy may appear in the future, that will be the man to stop him, and obviously King jinxed it on him by saying "In that case, I guess we won't see him then" until Luffy showed up, broke his mystic, took his spot and kicked his ass in front of the whole world, and in other cases when he said "Only haki can transcend all" he said it while he was heavily utilizing his DF, he was obviously playing mind games with Luffy, and at the same time, he was right since Roger whom didn't have a DF was able to become PK and conquer the seas, like, you think Kaido who confronted Roger in the past when he was a pirate apprentice of the Rocks pirates and have ton of experience wouldn't know? and also, what he meant by it also is that a "DF alone won't conquer the world" you must have both a strong Haki and DF but Haki comes first in this verse/in the world of OP
5-Is Kaido Underrated?
IMO: Yes, he is, He is PK, he has beaten top tiers like Oden (attack from behind or not, he would've still won just like he did with Gear 4 Luffy), also he is the Antagonist that has beaten Luffy the most number of times, 4 times and almost a fifth (surpassing Crocodile who did it 3 times and almost a fourth), he had the 3rd highest bounty in the Series (only behind WB and Roger) and highest bounty in the Series post-TS until his presumed death, also in OPPW4, if not counting Uta, Primebeard, Roger and Prime Garp, Kaido is the strongest character, only Gear 5 Luffy rivals him, Blackbeard comes close but not enough
6-Replace Bajrang Gun with a Galaxy Impact from a Prime Garp vs Flame Dragon Torch: Rising Dragon Flame Bagua, who wins?
IMO: it can go either way, just like they did with Bajrang Gun that could've gone either way but cause Luffy will be PK and cause the writer knows that fans want Luffy to be PK, he gave the edge to Luffy.
7-Is Kaido the coolest designed character in Anime history or in the history of One Piece? fans kept drawing so many awesome designs about him until Oda designed him by his own

8-Replace Shiki with Kaido in his fight with Roger and in his fight with Primes Garp and Sengoku, how he'd fare against them? would he have given them a bit harder fight than Shiki did and losses or gets destroyed worse than Shiki? (considering that maybe Shiki and Kaido are almost same power level)
