@Wiwi Some people spent a long time "arguing" some very stupid stuff. Marine HQ + Warlords = 1 emperor crew is just one of the many gems out there.
Pre timeskip, the balance was Marines + Warlords~ 4 Yonko crews. Post timeskip, we know that the marines grew stronger (stronger than ever) and now they replaced the Warlords with the SSG, something they think will tip the balance in their favor.

The balance was never that straightforward (one way or another). It was always dependent on circumstances and the Yonko being even more individualistic than the Corsairs.
Yes, the Marine can take down a Yonko Crew by itself. By gathering it's best elements from all over the world, making sure the Emperor they face can't unleash his or her full power at once (why do you think they kept Ace alive for days/weeks when they could have felled him real fast? They needed something to prevent old Whitebeard going full berserk on them).
And even the, the coming of a second Yonko crew made it clear that the Marines couldn't endure it and came out of it in a good shape : their Pacifistas were getting destroyed left and right, their most violent/dedicated admiral was injured and stalled by the Whitebeard pirates and the whole thing had devolved into a messy battle of attrition. And many Marines had lost their lives or were injured - none named that we know off, but it's obvious even them lost a lot of soldiers - and again, all those gathered at Marineford, even the fodders, were actually the cream of the crop for the Marine.
Also this is not three Supernovas who took down Kaido and Big Mom : it's three yonko-level pirate captains, two first-mates approaching Rayleigh level and their crews and their allies. And Big Mom had to not have her crew with her for that to be possible. If the two crew had been here, the alliance would have been toasted. And even then, the victory was hard-won - with a less powerful DF, Luffy would have lost and the Alliance also. And at 3 billions, the Captains at least play in the same ballpark than the Admirals now.

If Garp meant Larines + Shichibukai = 4 Emperors at the same time, why he tried to HIDE the information about Old Rayleigh, who is clearly not even equal to 1 Emperor at the time.
