Chapter Discussion Some reasonable explanation for Robin' demonic transformation?

#21
like what @Chaves said it's a mental image.
i believe it's like how zoro uses imagination to create asura with his aura, she does the same to create the demonio with her flower petals.
her ability is not limited only to her body parts, as she showcased the ability to create clothes before, and she can even control color.
i think her ability is like cracker's ability, where he can create everything out of biscuits, and i think she can uses flower petals to create anything she want (though it consumes stamina), she was only doing it with her body parts because it's easy to imagine/familiar with, and didn't have enough mastery of her DF.

Awakening what? Awakening the DF? Awakening your inner killer instinct? Arousing your demon side of Ohara?

Come on guys, I want to hear what you have to say...

Just convenient shading. The horns aren’t a big deal, she can sprout wings of limbs
And why is this stronger than your normal giant version?

Devil Fruit awakening. The way Robin's DF typically functions, is that she uses Flower petals to form various body parts. But with this new "Black Demon" that we saw this chapter, it seems that Robin herself became this giant demon, and it wasn't just some creation of the Flower Petals. Not to mention the huge toll it took on her stamina, of which to my recollection, never seemed to be an issue for her when she was just using her Devil Fruit normally. The same thing happens with Chopper when he goes into forced awakening with his rumble balls. No other form saps his stamina like that, except for Monster Point.

Oda isn't the type to create abilities without some sort of initial drawback, and stamina sapping seems to be his go to for new powerups.

Also I think it's 100 percent within reason that since those with Devil Fruit abilities didn't get a Haki buff during the timeskip, then awakening would have been the next best thing to give them.

Brook has had his devil fruit for over 50 years, and Robin has had her devil fruit for over 20 years, yet their proficiency in using them was pretty standard. It's hard to believe it's some random coincidence that both of them got a major Devil Fruit buff, after the timeskip, at the same time the concept of awakening is being expanded upon.

''Gigante fleur'' also does not have a specified number of flowers. Besides that, wings are also done through a mental image of her, since she doesn't have wings.

Maybe she just made her giant form look like a demonic form to intimidate her opponent, and not necessarily stronger than her ordinary flowing giant.

So the demonic form is just aesthetic? Doesn't it make Robin stronger than his normal giant form?
It´s bigger, and the amount of limbs always translates to more power.
Unfortunately she just used "Gigante Fleur" , so we do not know the exact amount of limbs, it just means gigantic.
Let´s say her normal giant limbs are always the same size. From the journey to Fishman Island we know mil fleur sprouted two giant limbs, meaning 500 limbs each. If you add that up for gigante fleur that she sprouted last chapter, you get 5000 limbs only for the arm, and then she has her torso, which should be a few thosand as well.
But instead of doing several limbs, she combines either all limbs she did before (or even more) to do a huge demon like figure which is obviously stronger with each limb.
