Christopher Columbus was an Italian explorer and navigator from the Republic of Genoa

Imu's first appearance - Chapter 906

Imu's second appearance - Chapter 908

More interesting fact - Columbus has appeared only two times in whole manga ( Chapter 906 and Chapter 908)

Imu's third appearance - Chapter 1060

Imu's fourth appearance - Chapter 1084

Is it just a coincidence or something else , we will get the answer in next few chapters

I'm not sure what to make of this, but if it has something to do with Nami it's instantly a win in my book :myman:

Holy shit lol, I never thought of trying to connect Colombus (Christopher not the OP character lol) to Nami but also the OP makes sense to connect to Nami somehow! Especially with what you showed!

I seriously doubt we don't havea good reason for why we don't know Nami's full name and heritage/biololgical family yet, maybe I'm just coping like I have done with Zoro now blatantly (his lineage/family) but I've always felt Nami will have extremely important connection in the OP world, some kind of massive influence, some kind of monumental lineage or w/e.

This is such a weird parallel too, theres no way this happened by coincidence or "accident", Oda is far too meticulous and cunning for that, too sneaky and much of a genius troll. Hell, he was hailed as top 10 geniuses in Japan recently for a magazine there or something?

When it happens 4 times as you pointed out here, its way beyond coincidental and a definite, deliberate pattern. I do think there will be some symbolic patterns between Imu, Nami, Vivi, Lily and even Boa. Oda uses a lot of flower symbolism in OP and Nami has been lightly associated with a sunflower at least, she is also the navigator and nakama of the confirmed "sun god" now and in Dressrosa, we had "Pink Variation Nami" who was associated with sunflowers to some degree too?

Idk if it means anything too, but we also have 2 female characters named after a shade of Red in Scarlett and Violet and yes they are common names potentially IRL, I feel Oda might do something with that in OP somehow, maybe associating Nami with the colour red or her mother or something. (Suddenly realises Kidd and Shanks exist and gasps)

I'm just throwing random shit at the wall as usual but these are very interesting observations and I am curious to see what the meaning of them are, thanks for tagging me, this is giving me a lot to ponder about and wonder what Oda's up to with all of this now.

Me right now as usual:

If Colombus is a navigator, then it can't be coincidence she is orange haired and another Namigator I mean navigator too.

Here's a fun fact too, there's a type of cloud called Cumulus (nobody say it) and Zeus, who coincidentally is with Nami now officially, is that same type of cloud....Coincidence?

(Not THIS Zeus though ofc LOL)

There's also the nimbus cloud which Goku used to ride on and also Son Wuong the Monkey King does too ofc. Idk any other cloud names but I feel theres a connection between all of this somehow, Oda is already paralleling Wukong instead of Luffy of all people, with giving her an "extending staff" like Wukong has, as well as his flying cloud (I'm sure we're gonna see Nami riding atop Zeus (Dont you dare) and casting huge storms whilst standing atop on him by Elbaf especially) and such.

Idk where I'm going with all of this tbh, I just wanted to mention all these random ideas/trivia I have going on and maybe you guys can piece together something for me, make it make sense somehow lmao.

@AverageNamiEnjoyer Idk how you discover all of this stuff but this what true fans do, its honestly so admirable/impressive and it makes me respect the respective character, One Piece and Oda more as a result too. There's no guarantee this will actually lead to anything nor go anywhere because we know how much of a troll, enigma and free spirit Oda is but regardless if anything comes from this, its still a very interesting observation.

Thanks for tagging me as always anyway!
