I think Killingham is the one putting the kids to sleep and summoning the nightmare creatures, Gunko is the one making the kids walk to the ship, and Super Sommers' power hasn't been made explicit yet but he's the one who hurt the PE Teacher named Wolf who was heavily injured in the school who told Saul to be careful and not touch the kids. I think his dialogue implies some kind of retribution power, where "love is pain", so if you try to save the kids because you care about them you get hurt.

Well all we ever seen are their demonstration of abilities, they haven't gotten into a actual battle. The things that they treat this like a game level, if they failed, a new group will come to clears it. It kinda indicates the new group are stronger than the current one.
