We never knew the detail about Law's blade so I cannot really comment on it, but, yes, the Enma cope is unbelievably stupid.

Law's awakening allows him to turn objects into rooms, which is how every non-Zoan awakening known so far works; this is why he can reach the inners of a person by putting rooms inside them with the help of objects.

That sword doesn't have the properties of a sword anymore, it is a sword-shaped room; so of course Law can change its size at will, just like he can create smaller and bigger rooms.

The blade actually presumably nerfed Zoro for the duration of his recent fights according to the notion it was still recently sucking his haki and Zoro had to control it once again.

Worst case he didn't master yet but it's somewhat better than the average O Wazamono AP wise.
