I was actually not too far behind in The Apothecary Diaries.
I think the structure of S2 is closely following that of S1. In the 1st half, medical mystery in episodic format with subtle hints to smth that's gonna happen later in the 2nd half.
Though we are getting a bit more on the political side on S2 1st half than in S1 1st half.

not sure if I follow you, S2 def is showing some new colors for the series, like the indepth lore of the Emperor family and a build up to a war/conflict
we can assume the war has always been there, but Maomao has never been confronted with it so far
also S2 has some strong emphazisation on the former Emperor being a cunnyplapper, idk if that will play any role in future

So apparently, Mushoku Tensei fans are crashing out and trying to cancels this anime because they don't want studio Bind to work on another anime beside Mushoku Tensei which is pathetic as fuck. Bunch of tourist chimps lol.
When Onimai drops in winter 2023, MT "fans" are throwing shades at the series and says that MT season 2 got ruined because they put more staff to work on Onimai instead of MT. Bind was created to adapt MT fully, not that they will only adapting MT and nothing else Lmao.
And what's even more funnier is that the new anime above called "Introduction to Mineralogy" is just a cute girls doing cute things slice of life anime, so it shouldn't took a chunk of animation budget from Bind, and the staff of MT are NOT in this anime, so MT season 3 wouldn't get "ruined" at all even though I think MT season 2 is fine. The artstyle might be slightly different but I honestly don't give a fuck lol.
I'm kinda glad that Flower and Asura anime fell under the radar or else butthurt MT novel elitists are trying to cancel it too.
But yea, just wanna share this. I'm gonna watch minerals anime for two BIG reasons obviously.

Idk why kids hating lol...it just shows they become a full blown anime studio and not just funneling on one project. Must be hard to accept for some gatekeeping losers lmao.
Both Onimai and F&A were very enjoyable fun shows. Studio is really great so far.
