It's really good. It's a mix between the "Spice" (Merchant economic storytell) and "Wolf" (Holo journey and her relationship with Lawrence)

Yup. The new Spice and Wolf made by Passione (the infamous borderline hentai anime studio) is adapting the series faithfully. You can watch that instead of the OG.
