Anime Discussion [Spring 2026] Anime Seasonals - General Discussion
I just noticed:
- Both Blue Exorcist and Black Butler used to be made by A-1 Pictures, but got abandoned after a few seasons because A-1 thinks they're not marketable and popular anymore, so they decided to work on recent hits like Solo Leveling, Mashle and such.
- There was a huge hiatus gap in between seasons but they both got picked back up by different studios, BE made by voln and BB made by CloverWorks. And their new seasons was made within a year.

Well, it was kinda obvious that this anime will air in Summer. As studio Bones has My Hero Academia Vigilante next month, then My Hero Academia Final Season in Fall, so Summer is their last slot for an anime.
Trailer looks great though. As expected of studio Bones after all. The artstyle is definitely heavily Soul Eater/Fire Force inspired as the author of Gachiakuta used to work under Okubo-sensei after all.

Yup. I said it before in some pages back, but summer usually has better anime than spring. And this year summer is already better than last year's summer anime season.

I thought Shirahi was just a normal childhood girl that was bound to get rejected (which she will at the end of the season probably) but holy fuck, she became the main antagonist of the series due to her yandere tendencies.
I can fix her though.
