I just caught up with the manga and anime this week. I love this story so much even though I usually don't read slice of life/comedy. It cracks me up with how overly serious it can be and all the ridiculous spy/assassination missions. Loid and Yor are hot and give me that Mulder and Scully "will they kiss this time?" vibe.

Anya is refreshingly normal and cute (well, not exactly normal, but in the way that she thinks and behaves like a real child her age). I'm also appreciating how she's fully clothed at all times and treated as a child and not a mini-adult.

The Desmonds are great villains and I hope Anya gets to punch Damian again soon. Yuri creeps me out and his gag is stale, but honestly, that's really my only complaint about the series. Can't wait to read more!

I almost always prefer to read rather than watch. I like to read at my own pace and stare at panels a while, flip back a few pages, etc. The anime is solid though, and I like the art style. VAs are excellent and Anya's voice is cute but not super-whiney, which is always a plus. I like how they've adapted her reaction shots. I don't really care for the telepathy sparkles, but it's not a big deal.

But yeah, overall the manga can stand on its own perfectly fine and is more fast-paced than the anime.

Why is noone talking here?
Last episodes been kinda more calm, but I love what a kind of dork Anya is. She been pretty dumb in the past episodes lmao. But I love each new dynamic showcases currently. Show feels alive.

It just isn't at its' peak rn like last season or when this season started (retrieving Bond arc)

Even the filler was still entertaining and well done. When the story is a little slow, I still love the art style and the settings so much that I don't mind. When Loid looked in her notebook at the hospital in the last episode, I died:gokulaugh:

Yeah, Loid is going soft on what he did with Yuri.
Yuri gonna definitely find Loid very suspicious on how he injured his arm. Which will bring Anya to the resuce by diverting the situation into something else.
