Indeed but going at least from previous historical representacies it seems that's a common route. It occurred in Enies Lobby and Thriller Bark, the SHs first firmly overwhelmed and then overcoming their enemies still on a 1v1

In any case, I think Oda definitely did well in giving that feeling of inclining others to get excited for Straw Hat fights other than with Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji, perhaps more so than previous arcs in awhile. Because I think it was getting to a point that some people were just expecting them to take care of the majority of the monstrously strong enemies, but even Luffy had a hard time fighting enemies like Ulti and Page without using too much energy too quickly, because even he felt like he needed to use Gear Fourth on Ulti even though she’s not an emperor he was after to begin with.
