With regards to Sanji's CoC I still think the most organic way for him to awaken it would be in his fight against the BB Pirates
Matchup wise if it's Lafitte then there's a Demon v Demon themed matchup in which Sanji could more organically manifest it by overcoming Lafitte as a stronger Demon/Devil. Then there's Sanji' fire power up patterns (i.e. Demon/Akuma (Diable) -> High Level Demon/Majin (Ifrit) -> Demon King/Maou (???))
Not keen on him unlocking CoC v Sommers lol. Why is Sommers a hard counter to Sanji though?
With regards to FS, I honestly have no idea when Oda will have him manifest it. Oda could just have him use it randomly and say that he's always had it but wasn't something he could control prior etc. or have him unlock something else entirely. Somehow feel like his CoO bloom will be tied to Pudding somehow maybe even the One Eyed Tribe as Oda seems to be giving Sanji abilities from the ancient races.

Too far away, imo.
Elbaph is many things, including the beginning of the final saga. The opening salvos of the prophesied "Great War" for the fate of the Third World are happening now.
I also would not count on the SHP cleanly matching up with the BBP. If I'm right, Blackbeard is moving against Imu soon and will gain a power so great he can imbue his followers with it, like Imu presently can. Allies will likely be involved with taking down the Blackbeard Pirates.
The strength of feelings can be multipliers to the adverse effects of Sommers' DF. Sanji is defined by his kindness. If Sommers is about to get back in the fight, a lot of people Sanji cares about will be in danger. It would flow quite naturally for Sanji to confront Sommers when he's back on his feet, struggle greatly at first because his kindness is literally killing him, and then overcoming that through awakening CoC and avoiding more thorns with Future Sight.
If I'm right about CoC being a component of FS, then I think Sanji will awaken both at the same time/in the same fight, and use FS instinctively.

I agree with this Gaban’s intro is just to confirm where Sanji will end up. It doesn’t necessarily mean he will unlock the same skill set. I think it would be counterproductive to have Sanji unlock AdCoC here, but I do think he will get a significant boost in Elbaph - which I think will be related to his final mutation.
I do think Oda specificly wanted Gaban to show CoC and FS before Sanji got them.
What do you feel it would be counterproductive? Elbaph is already a super consequential arc. Shanks and Teach are on the move. The Holy Knights have been dispatched as the Holyland burns as the "great war" draws near and the Revolutionaries are sure to make their move soon.
