I'm all for Chopper being killed off. It looks like his story isn't going anywhere. The only thing he does in every arc is save a lot of annoying and worthless idiots who do nothing but waste space,and Lolda confirmed in a sbs that his goal is a stupid fantasy. It's better to get rid of him early than to give him a shitty conclusion later.

Chopper was a decent character.

Then Loda made him the mascot, and he just kept getting cuter and dumber.

It's the usual case of massive overplay of gags by Loda. Chopper isn't the only victim of this
