You can consider someone a friend, they don't have to consider you their friend. Kaku was shocked Stussy thought so highly of them. He's a softie, someone just opened up infront of him knowing damn well he can't just easily forgive her.
True, but only cause he's a professional imo. It's pretty clear to me that Kaku has a soft spot for Stussy and kinda reciprocates the friendship sentiment but he can't act on it because of the circumstances they are in.
On the other hand, Lucci would kill her on the spot.
