General & Others Sun God Nika was mentioned in Skypiea so STOP saying Luffy devil fruit is an asspull!

The name Sun God Nika was clearly mentioned in Skypiea so it makes sense that Luffy has a special devil fruit! Like gahh, why would Oda mention that in Skypiea if it has no relevance? Also, Luffy stopped blowing air into his bone and muscles for gears 3rd and 4th. He's been doing it consistently for a long while now, and even flew Momo back up to fight Kaido. So that is clear that Luffy was not actually rubber!

Also, look at here in spoiler tag below in the very first chapter of One Piece, Shanks clearly said Ho Boy which rhymes with JOY BOY! It has been FORESHADOWED so stop complaining!

People that complained that they did not want to see Luffy end up like Goku or Naruto... it's very understandable

There was arguably one bit of foreshadowing to this transformation...

Why was Shanks willing to sacrifice his arm (when he probably didn't need to) just so that one devil fruit consuming kid could live?
Because that devil fruit was legendary.

Was that enough foreshadowing for a reveal like this? No; not even slightly. This powerup was the pinnacle of undeserved.

Shanks literally said Hoy Boy in the very first chapter and that rhymes with Joy Boy. It is clear Oda wanted Luffy to be a reincarnation of Joy Boy from the beginning. So yes, it is foreshadowing.

The Who's Who line was not foreshadowing because it was randomly inserted 1000 chapters later to make it look like Luffy has a special fruit. You can't use foreshadowing after 1000 chapters.

You can foreshadow after 1000 chapters, the same way you can for shadow after 100 or 500

Well this is indeed a BIG event in OP and i don't think it was just added randomly.
( even though the editor said like last weeks in an interview that he was worried that some of the things they were about to add were going to kinda split the fandom, and it surely happened so it also makes it seem that they just used Skypea at their advantage )

The Nika part it's not an asspull, people are disappointed bc this Zoan thing just ruins some BIG concepts that were established over the years.

In Luffy's most iconic fights, and in OP there has always been the concept of Will and if u think about it, Luffy losing N times and getting up each time it was just a message to show that concept, the Will of standing up again no matter how hard things get in life was narratively a key concept.

But if u now look at Luffy vs Lucci for example it almost seems like Luffy got up again bc his Zoan DF was MUCH stronger thant Luccy's.

This would have worked very well even staying as a mere paramecia DF.

And no you can't foreshadow after 1000+ chapters. Foreshadowing after 1000+ chapters is called a retcon.

random: chosen, done, etc., without a particular plan or pattern.

The answer is no, therefore it is random by definition.
