i think this man from the roger pirates is Jimbei’s dad.

remember the time when Jimbei ask luffy what his instincts thinks about Capone Bege and what Luffy thinks about him Jimbei will bilieve...

how about remember those times he was obssesed with freeing the fishmen peoples?

remember the time Jimbei said that he thinks no current yonkou would get to onepiece but it would be luffy who will find the onepiece... i think!

Jimbei grew up from the stories of his father Sunbell and just like what Roger did to a mink kid pedro asking him oneday to help them, Sunbell also did the same to the kid Jimbei...

theres even a chance that Jimbei met roger just like franky met him and oden. Thats why just like crocus, reyleigh and shanks Jimbei see’s the resemblance of roger to luffy thats why he bilieves that luffy would oneday become the king of the seas...

Jinbei is 46. He was in his mid 20's when Roger was executed, and most likely already an Officer in Neptune's Royal army when Roger visited Fishman Island.

im guessing that theres a lot of years when sunbell was wasnt around since it took them a lot of years probably to figure out that only oden could help them reach raftel.

and if he is at that age just like i said then he is matured enough he will understand what his father was trying to accomplish for his people

Could see them being related to each other closely like an uncle and that, but I feel like Oda won’t really go into Jimbes past past like that, but who knows Goda might just.

would be cool to see some more history of the fish men before Neptune and the sun pirates
