This will be challenging to understand the mechanics if you don't know what a superposition is or what the rules related to Devil Fruit awakenings applied here are.
1) What is a superposition?
- A superposition is basically when something is in multiple places at the same time.
2) The Applied Rules of Awakenings
- We follow Doflamingo's rule that an awakening is when a Devil Fruit ability begins to affect things other than the user's own body.
3) Logia Awakening
- A Logia user can fuse their body with the surrounding environment when they use an awakened ability on it. When that happens, their real body and the environment become indistinguishable from each other in a superposition.
4) You can compare this Awakened Logia Trait to Moriah's ability to Swap Places.
- Moriah's fruit is a Paramecia, but it used a superposition to allow Moriah's body to swap places with his doppelganger. The way I view a Logia Awakening is similar to that.
