- strength compared to young WB (of which, as said, he is in fact the son/clone).

You saw how he was presented, just a bulldozer flexing against fodders. Plus, it was implied that he got easily taken care of by Greenbull. If he’s as strong as you say then the latter never overpowered him in a proper fight.

He was presented against WB's commanders because that's what his plot was about, but we have all information, explicit statements by Kizaru + kind of confirmation in EH he reallu is WB's son/clone, to know how powerful he is.

I think he and GB had a brief fight and GB took him out by strategy. For example, in VC it was said his legs are his weak spot and GB could have very well hit those from behind using roots while he was "personally" fighting him.
That's just to say the first thing that comes to my mind, but I hope you get the kind of strategy.

It wasn't an all out fight until the bitter end anyway, we basically know that because Weevil was still conscious. GB took him out by competence first and foremost, which is all good for him tbh. Could have won even an all out in the "dumb" way, but would have been much more destructive.

I mean, let’s see then. I can’t really see a dude asking for his mama as comparable to even pre-GV Whitebeard. I’d be pretty shocked if Oda can somehow make this guy impressive, like who will he sacrifice to showcase Weevil’s hype?— When Weevil himself was already hypetooled by Greenbull….

I guess Oda can still give him acoc and shit though, but the damage to his image has already been done. I also can‘t see how he’ll be relevant going forward. Maybe he can join Blackbeard?

I think he'll join the CG down the line.

The dude is perfect for Buggy. He'll fall for his likes/hype. It Will also give Buggy some real weight when now he Is bascially and helpless vicitim.

Probably because to craft an Admiral it would require him to make a detailed design unlike shitting out same jobber looking pirates he does everytime.
It's just easier to mention his rank because Admiral rank is the hype.
