Speculations Teach and Shanks are definitely getting bounty boosts from Egghead

The principle reason being that Luffy and the SHs are guaranteed to get a big boost due to the egghead incident.

This means that Luffy has a decent chance of catching up to Teach and Shanks’s current bounties. I don’t think Oda will just let that happen so easily.

Both supernova are worth 3 billion berries and as such, the yonko deserve some boost for beating them. If only because they now got more poneglyphs.

My guess:

Shanks = 4 bil —> 4.5 bil
That’s above BM but below Kaido. I think most of the fandom at least ranks him that high. Portrayal suggests the same.

Teach = 3.9 bil —> 5 bil +
Teach not only beat Law, his crew captured Garp. He could also make a go for the ancient weapons soon.

Luffy = 3 bil —> 4 bil
Easily deserved. A level above Kid, Law, and the admirals. Portrayal and feats say as much.

Um achshally... His fight against Kizaru proves he's only EQUAL to the Admirals.. Not a level above.. The Vivre Card confirms this (but only the translation I used for it.. More accurate ones that say he was equal or even above Kizaru don't count)

Probably Buggy getting bounty boost too assuming marines send top tier who fail to deal with CG. So he gets the biggest boost of his crew as the captain and no longer has lower bounty than his "subordinate", other CG also get increase of around 2-300m average

Nah. Shanks is gonna be 4.9b-5b. Oda is positioning him as Roger. They're whatever suits the plot. He don't care about in story reasons, which is why Hancock, Jinbei etc etc got needless bounty boosts.
BB will be 4.5b and Luffy 4b or 4.2b-4.3b. If any of those reasons mattered then throwing hands with 4/5 highest authorities in the world, packing a admiral escaping with Bonney/Warlord Kuma, literally repelling a buster call, fighting against every form of authority in the world in a single arc from WG/CP0/Marine call etc etc would place Luffy easily 5b or higher. But he won't yet probs. But thats why story reasons don't matter.

Not likely. Neither have done anything worthy of a bounty boost. The straw hats won’t get their bounty boost till post Elbaf cause Elbaf will just be the finality of the Egghead plot.

And by then Blackbeard would have killed Shanks anyways

Beating Kidd/Law shouldn't raise their bounties since that was a completely expected outcome, not like defeating them makes Shanks/Blackbeard any more of a threat to the WG.

The poneglyph copies might raise them, but then again, the Straw Hats never got a bounty raise whenever they got new poneglyphs.

Luffy equalling or even surpassing Shanks bounty going into Elbaf is a very real possibility.
