Nope. He said for his crew to not fight Ace because they had no chance. His crew is always divided doing multiple tasks around the World. He sent Burgess alone to Dressrosa to get Mera DF. Van Augur and Aokiji only to get Pudding. He didn't had all his crew attacking Amazon Lily or Law's crew. And didn't has his whole crew protecting Hachinosu which would be important given how he kidnapped Coby.

I think Teach is much more interesting in his DF. Specially for giving immortality.
