Speculations Teach will trade Law to the WG in order to become a King

#21
Teach vs Law parallels Teach vs Ace.

In both scenarios, Teach got a somewhat fleshed out fight against another member of the D clan, one that was close with Luffy. Ace was defeated pre-skip and we can be all but assured that Law will be defeated this arc.

After Teach defeated Ace, he traded him over to the WG in order to become a Shichibukai. I believe that given Teach's current goals of becoming a WG king, Teach will do a similar thing with Law. He will hand Law over to the gorosei in exchange for hachinosu being allowed to enter into the WG.

The egghead island incident could possibly end with the destruction of the seraphim. If this is the case, then the WG would need Teach on their side to maintain the balance of powers. Especially with the rise of Nika.

Given the importance of the ope ope no mi as well as Law's own threat level, I think he would be a worthy trade for a king title.

Ultimately, I think there is a high chance Law will die, just as Ace did. Whereas Ace was killed by Akainu, I think Law will be killed by Imu, setting Imu up to be the final antagonist.

I think what people don’t get about Laws fruit is that Imu/WG has already used it

Atm they are fine with Law keeping it because it’s true significance is unknown to him

Doffy knows about Imu thus the fruit would be useful to him. But atm the governmen/Imu/Gorosei are simply fine with Law carrying on with it because he isn’t threatening them

So why did you cope all these years about Mihawk and Vista fight if retreating means nothing ?
First of all, Marco > Vista, and Lakainu > Vista.

Secondly, not deciding to fight from the beginning due to having other plans is different than asking for postponement after starting to the fight.

If BB asked for postponement vs. Sengoku + Garp after they started to the fight, then your example would be comparable troll.

But BB started a fight in AL and he retreated according to your logic.

Law is much more valuable than Koby. His DF grants immortality and he is a 3 billion berry pirate on top of that.
Koby is more valuable. His hero title is worth as much as admiral. Look he is 5 star. Captain in marine suppose to be 1 star. We go by ranking. 5 star is for admiral. Koby is captain but worth as much as admiral cause of his hero title. It doesn't matter anyway. Garp will replace koby as bb bargaining chip anyway

Regarding to this thread,

I'm not fully convinced I see the narrative of Teach achieving his goal. As in, let's say he becomes a CD. For how long would this take place until Luffy fights and defeats him?
From my perspective, I don't think it's gonna take long until Luffy and Teach fight. So him being introduced into the WG seems a bit pointless, as long as my prediction were to take place.

A nice theory

Garp will save Coby, so Blackbeard could be forced exchange Law instead.

An issue with this theory however.
Wouldn't Blackbeard want to have Law's DF for himself or one of his teammates? Would BB be willing to let go of such a powerful DF?

Still, this scenario is very much plausible and it would make sense if that happened.
