We obviously have to wait to see what the method of dealing with it is, but my gut feeling is that giving regen to the HK’s instead of limiting it to Imu and the Gorosei was a mistake.

If too many characters can deal with it, then it loses it’s threat value. If it’s something that every Strawhat will be able to overcome, it’s something that effectively may as well not exist.

Joyboy literally cancelled Imu's summonings with haki. People, it's too late into the game to add new powers. Chopper doesn't know shit about haki.

The Holy Knights are the Tobi Roppo of the WG: they are going to be beaten "even" by EoS Chopper, Brook or Usopp, alone the Rev commanders and such. Most of mugis don't even have basic CoA, let alone some fancy advanced technique.

The weakness of the regen is going to be something that even Chopper (who is going to learn it right now) or Brook need to be able to use.

Except this is one of the final ability that is derived directly from the final villain. The gorosei didn’t even care about getting hit, they were confident that nobody can bypass the regen hence fighting carelessly. I’m not so sure that somebody like Robin can halt the HKs’ regen, she can try to restrain them instead.

This is like saying that lunarian defence is pointless when you learn the flame on-off thing. Or Logia intagilbity is pointels because haki exist.

Also, weak spot doesn't mean it's easy to pull it off; Gaban did because he was vastly stronger than Sommers (and thank god we can put the "HK top tier" nonsense away for the better), but when you are on the same level as your enemy, it's not so easy.

Idk it's the revs right now, but in the log run HK vs revs is certain imho. I mean, HK were presented with the forehsadowing against the revs.

Logia intangibility hasnt really been a thing for awhile. Look at Kuzan and Kizaru in egghead. The highlights of their fights were combat prowess not a cheap trick

I mean the regen being something that high tiers that are low diff material for actual aCOC users have.
And weaker straw hats never expressed interest in hurting logia the way they do in with the immortality this chapter. This has to be on purpose.

Chopper’s purpose right now could just be saving Gaban then passing on the info to the heavy hitters. I mean let’s wait and see, it could be revealed the next chapter.

You are thinking lowly of the ability since high-tiers have it, which is a faulty perception. Remember that people will still struggle with this regen against the Gorosei and Imu, regardless of having intel.

The “temporary solution” is already a difficult thing to pull off — we needed a legendary Roger pirate to be the first one to demonstrate it. The actual and permanent solution will be another level to the problem. You likely would need to shut down the source of it.

What if Crocus invented a liquid that neutralizes regeneration? Maybe Gaban coated his axes with that liquid and Chopper will study it to recreate it.

Tbh, I don't think so.

Yeah, it's highly unlikely that only Luffy and the Wings are the only SHs who will fight GKs once they are part of the main objective... All active SHs participated in the fight against the main guys during their first fight against a Shichibukai crew (as a target), against a CP group (as a target), and against a Yonko crew (as a target)... Imu's main forces are the main rivals during the main confrontation which might be the final war so they all must have a counter at that point...
