It's time for the Gorosei to take the stage 
The only way for admirals to survive is to join pirate crews. Aokiji already joined BB. Now it's Kizaru's turn to join SHP alongside VegaPunk, SentoMaru and Bonney.
Kizaru can amplify the sun god's powers. He's still important, just under different command. Luffy's command that is.
Given that Oda showed how replaceable they are at the beginning of the timeskip, Oda even introduced 2 other admiral candidates, I don't see why it should be a surprise to anyone.
It took world changing wars to dispose the yonko and they still haven't really been replaced in terms of power and influence.

As far as strength goes i think they'll keep on being legit till the end,that boy kizaru gave a fresh yonko a decent fight, obviously anyone whos not a retard knew already that yonko(as in the og yonko,the new ones are either clowns or too young/new to be noticably stronger)>admirals,but basically everyone else except yonko,Worlds strongest title holders and elder stars seems to be under the admirals balls.
As far as importance goes they'll just keep on being combatants,except akainu i think,but akainu is also an exception strength wise i think he'd cook tf out of bm,bb and current luffy + he's gonna be more important to the story than the rest its obvious
