Yhwach lost because he unknowingly locked himself into a future where he died by Ichigo's old zangetsu. He dismissed it as a dream and did not change anything about it. In his final moments just before he's killed he realizes that it was not a dream.

I agree that Yhwach losing at the end of Bleach was kinda meh. But saying that he's the strongest ain't cutting it out. Knowing that there are folks who blow up Planets and bend reality over the table to fuck it in the ass

That sounds like bullshit lol, even with almighty locked, he still should be able to use other abilities, including the ryujin jakka he stole from yama.

Also, he could ve used almighty eight before being hit by ichigo because he did the same thing vs ichibei.

What truly took him down was that asspull arrow able to lock his reiatsu that was NEVER mentioned and came from no where.

Also, i remember the hype we had when ichigo and uryuu father showed up on the hueco mundo only for both to end up not doing shit.

Yhwach does all this and much more, he was on course to destroy both human world, soul society and hueco mundo dimensions after absorbing the soul king.

Destroying those things are indeed a very powerful feat, but there are folks who threatened galaxies, universes and entire dimensions. Folks that can erase someone from existence with but a mere though. Regarding the big 3, he's definetly the strongest character but there's always a bigger fish
