Powers & Abilities The Average One Piece Fan Can't Understand Haki Because They Don't Understand Cultural Differences

#44
That time of the month where shonen intelectuals come into WG to talk about how complicated it is to understand a power system consisting on attack/defense, premonition and intimidation.
Armament Haki = Endless Body = Omnipresent
Observation Haki = Endless Mind = Omniscient
Conqueror's Haki = Endless Spirit = Omnipotent

These are known as God abilities. They are ultimately based on God's own power. Omni abilities.

Most forms of it are known as Psychic Abilities and that by itself constitutes religious or spiritual contexts of the supernatural type.

It's not my fault that none of you can figure this out for yourselves!

I can talk about Haki and how it works all day long but you guys would still never understand it because you're ignorant of cultural differences.
No we're not : )

Have you ever read The Invisibles, by Grant Morrison ?

Sometimes I can kind of see Oda going this way with his story, lots of things you're kind of alluding to...

Would love to have this kind of discussions with you, but you don't discuss, you just tell us we'll never ever know.

Hi Worstgen,

You guys will never understand Haki because you have challenges with intercultural communication and the understanding of other societies.

Haki is a spiritually based energy that uses Eastern philosophical belief systems.

If you're Western and you don't understand Eastern philosophies and your comprehension of the story hinges on how you incorrectly interpret it then you will NEVER understand how things like Haki actually work.
@Rootbeer You're just going let this slide?

If you observe then you'll notice I have actually been discussing it this entire time. It's just nobody cares to read it.. and actually I have been discussing it for years but I get shot down every time. It's totally expected.

We aren't ignorant we just don't care and see no need to try and force religious connotations onto a fictional story

You are by far the dumbest and most stuck up
person I have ever seen use this forum. I had to make an account just to tell you this.

Does nobody find it weird how this mental nutcase keeps trying to apply his real life beliefs to a fucking comicbook about magic pirates?

He won’t even bother to explain shit but will speak to everyone in a condescending tone about characters following cosmic law and how Haki is based on his schizophrenic philosophies.

:kriwhat:
just stfu, this stuff is NOT real and it isn’t that deep. You arent some spiritual guru because you made a headcanon about Haki that you refuse to elaborate on
Lmao dude read bullshit, decided to make an account and directly dropped a nuke. W post.

I do. I read all your posts, and find them interesting, but lacking something.

Which is not a problem in itself, real life means you probably don't have the time to explain everything you have in your head.

But then, don't come and tell us we're all dumb for not being in your head, please ?

It's a fantasy story with spiritual elements.

Look.. if Haki isn't energy associated with a person's soul, then what are you suggesting it is?

Oda clearly based haki on the Roman culture
Armament haki = intense training, battle hardened body
Observation haki = battle experience, heightened senses and instincts
Conqueror haki = fame (people who make a name for themselves have it like Rayleigh said)

I find that to be subjective. You can argue crap like that about tons of people like the Romans. The part you're making a LIE OF OMISSION about is the fact that Romans never did anything like what's represented in the story.

It's based on Greek ancient philosophy and Buddhist philosophy and that's obvious as hell.

You have Poseidon and the Buddha in the same story. You don't hear anything about Caesar or anything like that, though.

Crazy how quickly people jump to conclusions. You think I made another account to insult myself? Some people really aren’t the brightest but oh well I guess I have no way of proving you wrong so believe what you wish.

I don’t expect you to understand since you’re an expert on eastern culture only
You need to study the Roman culture to grasp a concept as sophisticated as haki..

Oda clearly based Haki on the Film adaptation of Beauty and the Beast by Disney

Armament Haki = the Beast, strong body, hard teeth, hard penis, etc

Observation Haki = Bell, she is more concerned with the mind, not with meaningless superficialities like armament Haki

Conqueror’s Haki: Pocahontas, she has a free spirit and the Westerners cannot silence her

Please forgive my interpretation as I am an ignorant westerner who can’t possibly fathom Eastern concepts

Haki is a spiritual power. It's obvious.

The three forms of Haki represent God abilities that include Omnipresence, Omniscience, and Omnipotence. Anyone who thinks otherwise is being misguided.

Zoro literally manifests a Buddhist demon form when his spirit manifests. How are you going to say it has nothing to do with Gods when he is manifesting one before your very eyes??
