the fact that you suggest the others fought at all is headcanon.
roger = wb
anything else is really not confirmed. Looking in that panel , I dont see the wb pirates being equal to roger pirates but wb himself and roger himself.

Hearing from a source that Oden and Whitebeard continued their battle and it lasted for 5 days with both sides evenly matched and refusing to yield. WB in turn used an advanced form of Conqueror’s haki that rendered Oden all but completely incapacitated. Upon hearing of this the scabbards vowed to get revenge against Whitebeard but the two had no malice against each other and a bond quickly began to form as they both have a great respect for each other’s power..
