I get that joking about other users on a forum passing away can be a faux-pas.. but how do you get offended by it on a personal level?

Not everyone can be as tolerant/cool and lastly 'mature' as you to brush off just like that. Each one has their own issues with certain things or sensitive to things on personal level we don't know. So many jokes in Lance and so many tags him in their posts for many times for many things. Yet he responded strongly to that one post. Admiral words might not mean much for us and probably joke from his side, but not everyone has same kind of thinking.
